Yes, I am in fact a non-winner... in fact I didn't even make it past the first judgement round, no hard feeling though, I kinda only went for fun... I don't sing well enough to get on tv anyways.

It was weird though. It was like there was some sort of unspoken test that they had given us before even auditioning to weed out the weak. Silly me, was this test mean to get rid of people who cannot sing so well like me? Well, to bad! I'm just too much of a hard ass. Now, what is it that I'm talking about... well...

-Thursday afternoon, aprox 4:30. I go in for idol registration and I'm given this wrist band. It's made out of paper and instead of handing it to me so I can put it on, the little demon spawn sitting behind the desk straps it on tight... really tightly...

-Thursday night, aprox 7:00. "Why the hell is this thing so itchy!!!!" *scratch scratch*

-Thursday night, aprox 8:00. *scratch scratch* "I think I'm going to go crazy!!!!" *rubs wrist*

-Friday Morning, Aprox 3:30. wtf... *reads* "do not get wet" how the hell am i going to take a shower...

-Friday morning, Aprox 3:35. *tried to wrap hand in plastic bags*... "I give up!!!" Opts for hair hiding hat and facial wash.

-Friday morning, aprox 4:00. "Hey everyone!!!! GET UP" *ok, so I wasn't exactly that mean but we did have to get there at 5:00* Tasha: "how did you take a shower..?" *stifles giggles*

-Friday morning, aprox 5:00. Idol official: "soo... now that you guys are out here, is it a good time to tell you that we're not opening the gates to the arena until 8:00?" ... ... ... wtf.

-Friday morning, aprox 7:30. tired. hungry. cappucino. bad cappucino. $3.00. wtf.

-Friday morning, aprox 7:40. I'm blind. Weird guy. very tall. pink shorts... very short pink shorts... left nothing to the imagination. Robert takes a picture... which I will be getting soon. As much as I didn't want to stare... it was too funny.

-Friday morning, aprox 8:10. *sitting by myself because the demon spawn gave me a seat away from my friends* Random stranger behind me: "wtf, is she... reading right now?" I turn around because I'm quite aware that I'm the only one holding a book in the section. "You got a problem with that? Just because I'm reading doesn't make me deaf... you are still right behind me." silenced.

-Friday morning, aprox 10:00. "aww... fuck" I'm now sitting with my friends because we decided to move seats. "how many more commercials is this ho-bag going to shoot? and I honestly believe that Ryan Seacrest needs to get a better writter... this stuff sucks!"

-Friday afternoon, Aprox 12:30. Ryan finally finishes...

-Friday afternoon, Aprox 2:30. After cutting about 1,500 people in line, we get our chance to audition... it was short... and we were all rejected.

and yet, I still had a blast!

New Layout… and a little bit of reorganizing. It needed to happen…

It's funny how I don't notice simple things about most people until it directly effects me. For example, there has been something rather interesting going on in my neighborhood recently. As many of you may or may not know, I live near a military base (being a military brat myself) so I get to see a wide variety of people pass through here in differing numbers. Just recently, there has been a large ammount of soldiers here for some sort of training (I'm not even going to pretend I know what they're doing) most likely because many of them are about to go to Iraq soon. I was told that all these extra people here are supposed to be here for about two weeks... so what does this mean for me? Hell on Earth!!! Again, I may have eluded to this before on my old web host but I currently work for a government contractor where I am a Kitchen Personel (professional dishwasher... jk) at one of the local Mess Halls (place where all the soldiers come to eat). Because of all of the extra people here training, there are a ton of extra people comming in to eat... and I mean a lot! There where so many people in there today that I ran over some of them with a cart full of plates when one of our newer employees couldn't find where we kept all the extras and waited until we ran out of plates to tell someone.

Anyways, you may be wondering... if it's so busy in there, why don't some of those people just go somewhere else to eat that's less busy... like the Burger King right down the street? Well, I know I was wondering the same thing eventhough I already knew the answer. People are cheap... and will wait as long as possible to get what they want if the price is acceptable... and free is an acceptable price for any wait time... and I guess the possiblity of being in the same room as me for any ammount of time is also reason enough to wait up to 20 minutes in a line thats out the door and wrapped around the building. (ok... so maybe I'm not the reason but I still like to believe so) If you guys weren't aware... when you join the military, as long as you eat in the mess halls, the government pays for the food so you can eat for free there... and since it's an actual meal and not fast food, most soldiers go there instead of looking for a pricier alternative much to my distain.

And to all of my homies that are training for war right now, I was just kidding when I asked you to take up anorexia so there would be less people to clean up after. I was just a bit shocked at how many people they managed to stuff into our building.
